'If It's F1, It's Vital'
Lotus target top four finish
With Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean both performing well this season, Lotus currently find themselves in third place in the Formula One constructors world championship.
Kimi Raikkonen has scored 55 points so far during his comeback to Formula One and Romain Grosjean, who returned to F1 this season after a disappointing first season with Renault, has also impressed scoring 53 points.
That combined total of 108 points currently places them ahead of Ferrari, who have heavily relied on the performances of Fernando Alonso.
With the team also tipped to become the sixth different team to win a race in 2012, it would be understandable if the Lotus team began to get a bit ahead of themselves.
But perhaps with an eye on last season where the team struggled in the second half of the season, Lotus have not changed their target of a top four finish.
'Finishing top four is still the aim – and I think the target is realistic,' Lotus owner Gerard Lopez told Autosport Magazine.
'If we can get more we will take more, but the top four is the objective.
'And I think right now, we are one of the very good teams because of two drivers being able to score points.'
Lotus are currently 39 points ahead of fifth placed team Mercedes.
