Vettel & Button take front row
Vettel will start Sunday’s Chinese Grand Prix from pole position after the Red Bull driver recorded the fastest time in Q3 on Saturday morning.
Button will start alongside Vettel after qualifying second.
Renault drivers Heidfeld and Petrov will still be hoping to enjoy a similar start to the ones they both had in Malaysia after qualifying 16th and 10th , if they can hook up their starts like they did last week then they could be in the mix come the end of the first lap.
Mark Webber starts 18th knocked out of the first session of qualifying since Bahrain 2009, when he started 19th and finished 11th.
Petrov looked to be on for a good position on the grid when running 4th in session two, his Renault lost power and stopped on the track bringing out the red flag with 2.02 minutes to go.
Rosberg out qualified Schumacher by 10 places putting his Mercedes 4th on the grid, with all cars qualifiying.
