'If It's F1, It's Vital'
Perez passed fit
Sergio Perez has been passed fit to return to his Sauber for this weekends Canadian Grand Prix by the FIA doctors.
The 21-year-old Mexican missed the Monaco Grand Prix after he crashed during qualifying.
The crash left the rookie driver unconscious and he spent two nights in hospital.
But thankfully he did not suffer any serious injuries and following a medical conducted by the FIA yesterday, Perez returns to action this weekend.
'It was a very good examination as they checked all my bones, my memory, my reaction,' Perez said to the BBC.
'After the accident I felt dizzy, which is why I stayed another day in hospital, but we were always positive there would be enough time to recover ahead of this race.
'There was nothing damaged, no problems at all, so it was only a matter of time to return to normal life.'
That 'normal life' that he refers too will see him take part in two practice sessions this evening (the first of which has just started on the BBC red button), the second is this evening at 7pm.
Third practice will be at 3pm tomorrow ahead of qualifying at 6pm.
