'If It's F1, It's Vital'
Massa's spot is safe at Ferrari
Felipe Massa will stay at Ferrari next season, that has been the official stance from Ferrari all year, but that hasn't stopped speculation linking other drivers with his seat.
Mark Webber was the most recent driver linked with a switch from Red Bull to Ferrari, but di Montezemolo has again moved to end the speculation.
'This is the time for gossip, but next year's drivers will remain Alonso and Massa.' Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo told Sky Italia according to Autosport Magazine.
Ferrari returned to form at the British Grand Prix with Fernando Alonso winning his first race of 2011. The president hopes that this return to form will continue for the remainder of the season, but has already admitted that they already have one eye on 2012.
'We are all disappointed of not having been where we wanted to be at the start of the season, and this is why I'm pleased with the Silverstone victory, with a demonstration of superiority that gives us good hope.
'We'll count the points at the end. In the meantime we are working with next year in mind too.'
Ferrari are currently a whopping 164 points behind in the Formula 1 constructors' world championship standings, while Fernando Alonso is 92 points behind Sebastian Vettel in third place in the Formula 1 drivers' world championship, while Felipe Massa is sixth 152 points behind the defending champion.
