'If It's F1, It's Vital'

Mallya in no rush to confirm driver line up

Force India boss Vijay Mallya is in no rush to confirm the teams driver line-up for 2012.

Despite both Adrian Sutil and Paul di Resta performing well for the team, neither driver are contracted for the 2012 Formula One season.

'I have told them, please don't bother me about driver choices right now,' Mallya told Autosport Magazine.

Adrian Sutil is currently eleventh in the F1 standings, with the German driver scoring 28-points so far this season.

With a further six-points he would be able to leap-frog both Renault drivers [Vitaly Petrov and the recently dropped Nick Heidfeld] to take ninth place over the final few races of the season.

While Paul di Resta has impressed everyone in his first season in Formula One.

At the Singapore Grand Prix, the Scottish driver had his best finish in his fledgling career to finish sixth, a result which bumped him up the standings to thirteenth, a result which also saw Force India gain a 12-point lead over Sauber in the constructors championship.

'We will focus on getting a good position in the constructors' and we will talk about everything else later.

'Just leave it to me: I will think about it, but right now I am just enjoying the moment.'

It is fully expected that Paul di Resta will be offered a seat with the team for next season, but his team-mate is less certain.

Sutil has previously been linked with the Williams team, while Nico Hulkenberg has been linked with a move to Force India.
