'If It's F1, It's Vital'
Formula 1 set for two races in the USA?
Formula One hasn't returned to the United States of America since 2007, but from 2013, F1 might be heading state side twice a year.
Next season Formula One heads to the brand new $250 million purpose built track in Austin, Texas.
Hermann Tilke has designed the layout and infrastructure of the new circuit and construction began on December 31st 2010.
The 'Circuit of the Americas' will be the host city of the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix starting next season and running through to 2021 after the circuit promoters Full Throttle Productions and Formula One Administration signed a deal in May 2010.
However Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone has for a long time wanted a race in New York City.
He first began hinting at the prospect in March last year, before a deal for the Texas track was confirmed.
Ecclestone's vision is to have the race by the Hudson River in New Jersey, with the Manhattan skyline overlooking the circuit.
Talks and negotiations are believed to have been going for sometime with the Mayors of Weehawken and West New York holding meetings with the YES TV Network regarding investment.
The Wall Street Journal have reported that a press conference has been called at Port Imperial in Weehawken for tomorrow, where the announcement could be made by New Jersey governor Chris Christie and other local politicians.
