'If It's F1, It's Vital'
HRT launch 2012 car
Just like the Marussia team at Silverstone on Monday, HRT launched their new car in Barcelona during their filming day.
The two newbie teams have struggled to get their cars ready in time for the 2012 Formula One World Championship and both had failed to test their new cars during the official winter testing sessions in Jerez and Barcelona over the past month.
Both teams tested yesterday and will continue today, although they are limited to just 62 miles and have to use demo tyres, so set-ups a data capture is limited.
Indian driver Narain Karthikeyan completed laps around the Circuit de Catalunya in the new HRT F112, while Pedro de la Rosa might get his first taste of the car on another day.
The HRT's livery remains predominately white, with gold and red flashes down the sides of the car. The front nose does include a step design, but it does not appear to be as steep or ugly as other cars designs.
