'If It's F1, It's Vital'

Good news for Bahrain?

Hopefully this is a sign of some good news for the people of Bahrain and F1 fans around the world.

The situation of course is forever changing and violent protest can build in a very short space of time.

But Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone is now hopeful that the current unrest in Bahrain will blow over in time for the F1 circus to roll into town.

'Our people there say 'it's quiet, no problems'.

'I'm more hopeful today. I hope we don't have to do anything. Let's hope this all blows away.'
The F1 maestro told the beeb.

Bernie had previously stated that a decision regarding the opening race of the Formula One calendar would be made next week and had appeared to be of the belief that the race would have to be cancelled.

never a dull moment is there? Obviously safety has to come first but would be awful if after all the work to get ready for the F1 season the race has to be called off.
The Fear
the first race of the season... this would be a gutter if it didnt go ahead. Lets hope they can sort themselves out in time

That maybe what is going to happen, The Rich end of town content, the poor end no content, does not look rosey to me.Hopefully the race can go ahead, or it could cause big problems for the unrest in the area if it does.
