2012 - Race 19 - United States
The penultimate race of the 2012 season will see the Formula One circus roll into Austin for the first time as the hosts of the United States Grand Prix.
At an estimated cost of around $350 million, the Austin Grand Prix has had its problems.
Formula One has not returned to the States since the Indianapolis event was dropped from the calendar after the 2007 race.
However after initial doubts, the suspension of construction and various warnings from F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone, it does look highly likely that Formula One will return to the United States of America in 2012.
